A couple weeks ago I asked you on social media what types of posts you would like to see more of. Most of the answers were makeup, fashion, & dealing with multiple miscarriages. To be honest with you, I don’t feel like I’m a super fashion forward person. I love my comfy jeans & baggy t-shirts. Can I get an amen?!! I also feel like I have so much to learn in the world of makeup. I like fast & simple. Even though I don’t feel very qualified for these types of posts, I thought I could start with something basic: skincare! Ok, it maybe isn’t that basic with all the brands, products, ingredients, etc that are out there, but I have found a good everyday basic routine that works for me right now. I do like to switch it up depending on the season, but here is what I do right now.
Face wash:
Arbonne FC5 Purifying Cleanser & Toner
I just recently started using this product & already love it! The scent is light & refreshing (Arbonne honestly has the best scents for their products)
I use it with my Clarisonic & wash directly over my makeup – it gets rid of all the dirt & makeup (w/ my Clarisonic) really well
My skin feels nice & moisturized after, not dry & tight
All Arbonne products are paraben free & vegan!
Moisturizer:
Arbonne FC5 Moisturizing Night Creme
This is by far my favorite face moisturizer – my face is extremely dry (especially living in AZ), & I have tried just about everything – this is the ONLY thing I’ve found that helps!
I use it day & night because my skin is so dry – it’s moisturizing, yet light enough to wear under makeup
Exfoliater:
Rodan & Fields Microdermabrasion Paste
I just won this in a drawing & only started using it within the last month – it’s the best exfolioater I’ve ever used!
My skin is left feeling so incredibly soft – I use it about 2 times a week
That’s really all I do right now for skincare. It works well for me. These are reasonably priced products with great results! Although the Microderm paste is initially expensive, I honestly think it will last me all year.
