This is my brother-in-law, Sawyer. He is interested in photography, so I thought, why not have him take some photos of me & teach him some stuff? Well, he did take some awesome photos (I’ll post them later), but whenever I have a camera, I just cannot help myself from taking pictures. This little learning shoot turned into yet another mini shoot with Sawyer, and of course, Alby.
Also, I recently got Photoshop. I have been using Lightroom for a couple years now & absolutely LOVE it! I used to only use Photoshop because I was taking a PS class at Evangel, but that was such an old version of PS that it didn’t work on my computer when I updated it. Womp womp. So I have been out of the PS world for a couple years now. I basically am starting back at square one because if you’re not using PS on a regular basis, it’s very easy to get lost or confused on what to do. I honestly have been having so much fun playing around, but it’s so easy to get frustrated when you don’t know how to do something.
For these photos, I used a free action from Sara Kiesling & then made a few minor adjustments to the color & composition. You can find a few of them on her Facebook fan page, here. She is absolutely amazing & such an inspiration to me!
