This was my first shoot in Arizona as an Arizonian (<<– is that even a word?). Our dear friends Joel & Bekah moved here from Colorado about a year ago, even though we were supposed to beat them here. ;) Bekah is due in March, and she’s obviously a beautiful woman… so I thought I would ask her to “model” her bump for me. Never in a million years did I think I would have to work my photo shoot around the rain here… Arizona… aka the desert! Haha But alas, we had some little sprinkles and decided to work through it.
Thankfully I had an awesome team of assistants, Griffin & Joel (our husbands), who happened to be coming along for the ride. They each had a very important task: one held the reflector & the other blocked me from the rain. It was the perfect team!
Anyway, enough chatting… here are some frames from the day!
I had the privilege of photographing their wedding a couple years ago as well. Griffin & I love them both dearly, and so you can imagine our excitement when we found out they were preggo! They beat us to that too! :) I can’t wait to meet little Noah Yanke very very soon!
