I have a few reasons for why I’m creating/revamping this blog. First and foremost, I wanted to have something to where my family and friends of whom I just moved away from can come along this journey with me and my husband. It’s a way for them to stay connected. The second reason is to document the life lessons I will be learning, and hopefully be able to encourage and challenge anyone who is interested in reading this. Third, I have tried so hard to keep a regular journal throughout my life, and never succeeded. But when I look back on the times where I did journal, I was so thankful that I did. Some memories last forever, but there are so many things we forget as life goes on. Things we thought we would remember, things we hoped we would remember… you get the point. I also wanted to get a head start before Griffin and I start a family. It may not be anytime soon, but when that time comes, I want to make sure I document every word, every moment, every silly thing that our kids do. It’s something that not only I can look back on, but that they can read when they are old enough. Ok, that last reason was long, but finally, I am a photographer, and I love to document life with photos. My passion is photography, and I will be using this blog for my photos… professional and non-professional… to hopefully inspire others or at least put a smile on their face.
